Evaluation #1
Here we have the first evaluation for the student teaching experience. For this I taught a science lesson that had students look at different types of soils to see how they were similar and how they were different. It was an engaging and fun activity for the students to participate in and I think they enjoyed it very much. After we were done they asked if we could do another experiment the next day, so I concluded that having them do experiments was something that will keep them engaged in their learning.
I learned a lot from this evaluation and will work to improve in any way that I can for my future evaluations.
Evaluation #2
For this evaluation I taught a math lesson. It was on input/output tables and students were being introduced to the material for the first time. They watched a short video and then we moved into the direct instruction. After that, they did a Kahoot, which is something the students love doing.

With this evaluation I learned that I need to work on my engagement strategies and will continue to do so as I work towards becoming the best teacher I can be for my students.
Evaluation #3
For this evaluation I completed a grammar lesson talking about nouns. Since my mentor teacher taught math/science/social studies, I have not have much experience doing Language Arts lessons, so I was excited to try one out for this evaluation. I learned a lot through my research and plan on continuing to better my Language Arts instruction so I am prepared when I have a class of my own.
This lesson was a mock lesson since I was not able to be in my classroom due to us being out of school for the Coronavirus.
Evaluation #4
For my fourth evaluation I decided to do a follow up lesson to the previous lesson. I wanted to show how one lesson could be used to follow up a different lesson. In this I have students looking at adjectives which go with nouns from the last lesson.
