Classroom Environment
The following photos are some that I took of anchor charts I made with the class, and a science experiment we did. The experiment was to see how much water would evaporate out of a cup if one was placed in the sun and another in the shade. This experiment is one that the students really liked!
Worksheets
The worksheet samples that are attached show a pre-test that I created for a unit, and a worksheet that we used for the students to do research during Black History Month. The research they did was through BrainPop and BrainPop Jr to find more about famous African Americans. W used Martin Luther King Jr as an example and the students chose from seven other people and did their research.

Professional Development
I was fortunate enough that the district I am at had a couple of professional development days with workshops for the employees to attend. While I was at the workshop I attended three different sessions. One was called CRASE, which was a workshop all employees had to attend and it talked about emergency situations and how to act if they are to happen. Another workshop I attended was called "Numberless Math". It talked about breaking down word problems for students so that they can easily pick out information and use it to get the answer. The last session I went to was "Me, Myself & My Behavior Management". This one was very helpful in explaining different tools to use when behaviors in students happen.
